HFOT

High Flow Oxygen Therapy (HFOT) delivers heated and humidified oxygen at a set FiO2 to correct or regularise blood-oxygen levels. Patients are conscious and capable of completing spontaneous respirations. Often achieved by use of a high flow nasal cannula, the therapy is intended to treat impaired respiratory function or respiratory disease.
